Welcome to my Health Taboo website where you’ll find many compelling and controversial articles found nowhere else on the internet. But before you get your knickers in a twist, there are a few things you need to truly understand without any inkling of denial.
It may take a while to get things going here as I have a full-time offline business as well as website about travel in Thailand. If you are an adventure junkie like me and love the great outdoors in a land full of smiles, you may want to hop over to Luxury Thailand Travel and get the best of both worlds.
But first up is for you to recognise that this health site is dedicated to alternative health issues, notably vegetarianism, Macrobiotics, healthy juicing, healthy eating habits, healthy recipes and so much more.
The site is not necessarily a new way to discover how to lose weight, though that can easily be achieved with my methods, but rather a better way to maintain a healthy existence and a life free of the most common diseases. While I’ll touch on the subject of diet, my primary goal is to set the record straight for you to have a long and healthy standard of living. What normal and intelligent person wouldn’t want a slice of that?
However, if you are totally satisfied with your lot in life, don’t mind being overweight and love to eat lots of unhealthy food, then the articles I am about to share will not be for you and you may want to leave this site immediately. If that’s not you, then you’ve come to the right place.
Just for starters, here are some thought-provoking things you may want to reflect upon
Have you ever wondered why some people who have been diagnosed with a dread disease by their doctors and subsequently told that the outcome is not good at all? It’s terminal and eventually, they succumb to the disease in question. Then why is it that on their death certificate it says that the person died of natural causes? Tuberculosis, cancer, strokes, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s disease and heart-related disease are just some of the various forms of dread diseases. I have yet to meet anyone who questions this unfounded theory.
Have you heard the expression – Trust me, I’m your doctor. I know lots of folks who fall for this faceless assumption that their doctors know it all and will guide you to a greater place where you’ll have peace of mind. Instead, you should listen to your own body and take full responsibility for how to properly take care of it. After all, it’s the only one you have.
The better you look after yourself, the greater life you’ll have. Now would be the time to get rid of your doctor and become one yourself. And you don’t need a degree to discover the true meaning of life. I left school at the age of sweet sixteen, went to an art college, but never to university. Everything I’ve learned is from research and a lot of travel. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to understand how things should be. Most of what really matters are right there in your head. You just need to release it and go with the flow. It’s not that hard a task to follow.
I’m 64 years young, have been a vegetarian for more than 44 years, weigh less than 70 kilograms, still have the same hair colour since birth. Strangers cannot believe I’m a working pensioner. If you should meet me personally and listen to my voice, you’d probably think that I am in my late 40’s. Some even go as far as to say that I don’t have any wrinkles, but I refuse to believe them. I do have a lot of laugh lines, but I’m told I should keep them as they are part of my character. And the best part – I have never needed a doctor to tell me how to live my life.
Have you ever wondered why people who get headaches reach for a painkiller to make the throbbing discomfort go away, yet fail to understand why they got a headache in the first place?
The same could be said for people who set their alarm clock before going to sleep at night, only to wake up the next morning in total shock, when it’s so easy to set the alarm clock in your head, set a time and wake up peacefully.
Having a headache and switching the alarm off by taking a pill or two only eliminates the symptoms and not the actual cause of the problem.
What if I told you that drinking too much liquid and then going to the toilet too often is bad for you. Why do “they” tell you that you need to drink eight glasses of water daily and then not explain what size the glass should be. Should we not be told to drink water by the litre instead.
I have seen some people drink ten beers at their local pub and then proceed to piss it all down the toilet. Are they trying to drown themselves! All the goodness has gone in an instance. Does that make sense? I think not.
Why is it that lots of ordinary folks who love their furry pets so much and would never think of eating them, yet they think nothing about going down to their local supermarket and purchasing other butchered animals such as cows, sheep and pigs.
Then, without so much as a second thought for those poor slaughtered animals, readily consuming them. Is it not the same people who cry foul when people from different cultures eat animals western cultures deem not fit for human consumption. It can only be labelled as a double-edged sword.
How many of you who consume domestically reared grass fed animals, never give one thought to eat flesh-eating wild animals such as lions, tigers and wildebeest instead. Maybe the reason for that is that they are harder to catch or that they might become extinct.
The articles you are about to read on this brand new health taboo site are just the tip of the iceberg as far as thought-provoking articles are concerned. Are you up for the challenge because I am about to take you on a roller coaster ride like no other. And if you feel that you’d like to add your pound of flesh, please feel free to add your thoughts and concerns. I’m all ears.
